Our local partnership with the New York City Fire Department allows MPLC students to learn about firefighting, and fire safety through engagement with firefighters. This hands on experience allows students to learn about life as a firefighter.

MPLC is licensed by the New York City Department of Health. The emotional and social wellbeing of our students reflects how they see themselves and their environment, family and community.

New York City Library

MPLC is committed to it’s ongoing partnership with the New York City Public Library, where students engage with books, enjoy group stories and explore reading aloud in a literacy-rich environment.
